Her first attempts at publication resulted in a few Kindle books written under the pen name 'Snowqueen's Icedragon'. They have two sons and reside in London, England. In 1987, she married screenwriter, Niall Leonard. After graduating from the University of Kent, she went on to become a studio manager's assistant at the National Film and Television School.
